Mary & Pete: Dimond Hill Farm; Concord, NH

Mary and Pete had a wonderful ceremony this Saturday at Our Lady of Fatima in New London, NH.  It was nice to be back in New London for a sunny September afternoon.  Thankful Hurricane Earl sparred us.  After some formals in the bandstand we headed to Dimond Hill Farm in Concord for the reception.  Mary and Pete rode down in a beautiful 1955 Packard!

Dimond Hill is one of my favorite places to photograph.  I love the farm weddings and it is nice to be at an actual working farm.  Check out their farm stand if your ever in the Concord area.

Home Birth

Last week I attended a friends home birth down the road in Rumney. The idea was for me to photograph the birth, but with just 2 hours of labor neither I nor the midwifes made it.  Amy’s husband and 2 friends delivered the baby.  They were all a little shaken by the experience, but happy and healthy none the less. So here is their baby girl at about 40 minutes old.

Ever wonder how they weigh a baby at a home birth?  Here’s how:

Shannon & Mike: Dexter’s Inn; Sunapee, NH

It was quite possibly one of the best days of the year on Shannon & Mike’s wedding.  80 degrees, no humidity and perfect blue skies!!  Dexter’s Inn in Sunapee NH was fantastic as always.  The views of Mt Sunapee are just unmatched, as is the service, location, grounds and their fantastic tent.  Dexter’s is a wonderful place for a country wedding.

Congratulations Shannon & Mike!!  Please leave some comments below.  I love to hear what you think.

Oliver at 2

It’s such a treat to watch a baby grow! I first met Oliver 2 years ago when he was a little infant. Hard to believe in just 2 years he’s turned into a walking, talking, independent person.

Here is a flash back:

And here he is today:

Amazing, isn’t it?

Sarah & Chris: Brooksby Farm; Peabody, MA

Our associate photographer Allana recently photographed Sarah & Chris’s wedding at the Brooksby Farm in Peabody.  I’m so jealous I wasn’t there on a picture perfect day, with a picture perfect couple.  What a great spot for anyone looking for a rural setting for their Massachusetts wedding.

Well done Sarah & Chris!!  Please Leave us some comments!!

4 Month old Peter

I met Valerie at a wedding show almost 3 years ago.  I can’t believe she hung onto my card for that long, but I am glad she did!  There is nothing better then photographing a baby who knows how to smile for the camera!

Maura & Cory; Cambridge MA

Cory & Maura spent a lot of time in Somerville, MA around Davis Sq and Havard Sq while undergrad’s.  They wanted their engagement photos in that area.  None of us anticipated the complete and utter downpour we soon found ourselves in.  It’s very telling of this couple’s positivity when they started dancing in the rain!  Love it!  Can’t wait for their Meredith, NH wedding this October!

Amy & Paul’s Baby Bump

I stopped by our neighbor’s house yesterday here in Rumney to photograph their baby to be.  We walked across the street the Quincy Bog Natural Area for these beautiful shots! Their 3 year old daughter, Ella, stole the show.  Can’t wait for the newborn session which may be any day now!!

Sleeping Baby

This is Michael and Geralynn’s new baby - Angelo.  It’s so wonderful to photograph someone’s wedding and then their first child.  Super special!
