My Holiday Weekend…

Whew, what a weekend… I started spending my Sat. morning at Fenway park.

Then I headed down to Brockton for a wild wedding. It started out pretty tame….

But after the cake was cut, things got out of control!

And that was just Saturday. Sunday I headed a little farther South to Dartmouth, MA.

And I’ll end with that.

Engagement Sessions from last week…

Rural Chic

Interest in rural chic is spreading. Visual Bride is doing an article about Authentic Eye and our rural, rugged, beautiful style. Here’s a bridal shoot at a farm in Alstead from yesterday.

This weekend’s wedding in Maryland

I had the honor of traveling to Maryland this past weekend to photograph Di and Jay’s wedding. They are amazing people with fabulous families.

This was the real tear jerker as Diana exchanged vows with Jay’s daughter.

Di and Jay were such a classic couple, I gave them a classic look.

The DJ explained to the garter-catcher that every inch the garter went above the knee would result in an extra wonderful year of marriage for Di and Jay.

Photos for Fun!

It is so rare that I print any of my personal work. But I just did and I wanted to share.

Authentic Eye’s Commitment to the Environment

Authentic Eye Photography will be a Carbon-Neutral business by Earth Day 2008. I am making this commitment one year out, because it will take time to do this right.

I am committing to:

Reducing my business’s emissions.
Off setting the emissions that I can’t eliminate.

How? I’m not sure. I drive too much, ship too much and well prints aren’t exactly environmentally friendly. I’m seeking out the advice of other professionals, activists and You!

If you have any ideas, please share.

Thank you!
