Colleen & Emmett, The Common Man Resort Plymouth New Hampshire

My first wedding after becoming a mama, was this past weekend at the Common Man Resort and Spa in Plymouth NH.  Leaving a four week old baby at home felt like leaving my right arm, but it was well worth it for an absolutely fabulous wedding, gorgeous weather, beautiful locations and super fun people.

So we crashed a Plymouth State University party to take the photo above.  The guys we’re super cool about it, see below.  On a side note, can you imagine this being the backyard of your college apartment?

5 Week Old Oliver

Erica and Eric brought their 5 week old son Oliver into the Studio last week for a newborn session.

Eric is a new professor of government at Colby-Sawyer College. He did his graduate thesis on Karl Marx and had the clever idea to bring a few of his books in for props.  I’ve done football, baseball and musical instrument photos but never a book worm one.

Newborns Galore!

We’re having a busy week in the studio, so I am officially back to work.  On Sunday we had two newborns come in for a session.  It’s so interesting to compare personalities and development, especially with my own now.

First to come in were Dorothy, Barry and their 2 week old son, David.  Look at his big eyes and beautiful full head of hair!

I’ll post some from 5 week old Oliver’s session tomorrow!  Please come back and take a look.  As always, I love to hear your comments!
