Gyodi & Andy; Promises To Keep, Derry New Hampshire

I suspected this would be a fun wedding, but this was beyond my expectations!

Andy and Gyodi have an wonderful sense of hummor, but I didn’t expect that to extend beyond one generation.  To my surprise, Gyodi’s whole family is beautifully light-hearded.  Her father wore a clown nose in the formals!  Their friends wrote and sung a song about how they met during the reception.  And Gyodi’s father and brother put on wigs during their toast.  It was one of those weddings that really kept me on my toes!

Thanks Gyodi & Andy!

Gree & Jamie; Snowvillage Inn, Conway NH

Last weekend I had the honor of photographing an elopement.  Gree & Jamie we’re planning a big wedding, but scratched that idea and got married at a small New Hampshire Inn with only their daughter in attendance.  It was a wonderful, heartfelt ceremony and a fantastic venue for portraits!

Kristen & Dom’s Vermont Engagement

I woke up Sunday morning to pouring rain!  I called Kristen right away to warn her before she drove all the way to Ascutney, Vermont from Connecticut!  But the weather soon turned.  We really got the perfect mix of sun, blue sky and clouds. I can’t wait for their October wedding.

The rest of Kristen & Dom’s engagement photos can be viewed here. Love to hear what you think!

Wall Galleries

I just hung up these wall galleries in my office that I wanted to share.   Often it is hard to know what to do with all your photos.  I suggest having a plan before ordering prints and think about ways that multiple images can work together to create your own gallery.  I’m going to add these collections into the on-line ordering system, so you can plug your photos in and receive a finished product ready for your walls in just a couple of weeks.  No more agonizing!

I have one more, I haven’t even hung up yet.  It’s (6) 6×6 canvases.  It looks awesome!!  I’ll post a picture as soon as I have a minute to get it up.

Have a wonderful weekend!

Utopia

I am just back from Utopia, aka Burlington, Vermont. I was visiting Bryan who is building a Sugar Shack for the Rock Point School. They are actually calling it the Taj Ma Sugar Hall, because it is way to fancy to be called a shack.  It’s his community project for the year.  The kids help, it’s a traditional community hand raising.  Very cool!

But back to Utopia…Do you know that Burlington does not have black flies?  That’s right no bugs at this time of year.  Did you also know that there is a campground on the bike path about a mile from downtown?  I don’t know why I’ve ever stayed in a hotel there.

Now, I don’t know if Rock Point would host a wedding.  But it would be the perfect place.  They also house the Rock Point Summer Conferences which has an outdoor chapel, 3 private beaches, very rustic cabins and the whole campus right next to the campground and a stone’s throw from the Hilton and all that.  If you are looking for a Vermont wedding venue, give them a call.  It never hurts to ask.

Here’s a snap shot of the view from Battery Park. Those mountains are all undeveloped!!

And here is Kyra on her first camping trip!  We stayed in one of the cabins - so it’s “Kamping” with running water, flush toliets and electricity.  But she slept in a sleeping bag!

Our Red Sox Fan

Many of you know that we are big Red Sox fans in my house.  Well, Kyra has become a little MLB branded baby.  It’s slighly out of control, but very cute.

Kyra Update

I was in the studio last week photographing another 7 month old baby, David.  I’ll have his adorable photos up later this week.  But first, I thought I ‘d share a few recent shots of my 7 month old baby girl.

I love this shot in a way only a parent would, because I can hear the noise she is making here, yet it isn’t ear piercing.  She loves to squeal.
