Lindsay & Voss: The Common Man Inn; Plymouth, NH

Lindsay and Voss had a fantastic wedding at the Common Man Inn in Plymouth, NH.  The C-man has one of the best set-ups around for a wedding.  They have the greenhouse behind the Italian Farmhouse with georgious views, sweet plum trees and a built in rain plan (greenhouse).  The Common Man Inn & Spa is a shabby-chic hotel with two beautiful ball-rooms.  I can’t say enough good things about this venue, it’s staff and food!

Lindsay and Voss finally tied the knot after 6 years together. I have never seen a couple tell each other “I love you” so frequently.  These guys are a very special couple.

Nicole & Jeremy: Stephen Clay Homestead; Candia, NH

Nicole and Jeremy had some of the best weather of the year on their wedding date!  Beautiful skies without too much heat or sun.   Nicole and Jeremy picked a wonderful location for an intimate wedding.  Not far from Manchester, NH is this small B&B and historic homestead. It’s really the perfect place for wedding.

Nicole and Jeremy are simply wonderful people.  Gently souls and Nicole is long-time vegetarian - yeah!!  I enjoyed photographing them and their families greatly.  We had the unique honor of having 4 generations of women present on this day - that is fantastic.

Owen & Amy: Orcas Island, Washington

So you may notice that this wedding is outside of our normal coverage area.  Way outside actually.  The opportunity to photograph an Orcas Island wedding was one I just couldn’t pass.

Owen and Amy are incredibly kind and genuine people.  Their beautiful Pac Northwest ceremony took place under umbrella in a gentle and warm rain.  The reception at the historic Outlook Inn was cute, fun and elegant all at the same time.  Owen received one of the best toasts I have ever heard from his best man.  I later learned he a writer for NBC which explains the humor and emotional arch of this toast.  Seriously well done!

This wedding was extra special for me because Owen and I were good friends in college.  It is so wonderful to see him so happy and complimented by a woman like Amy.  Owen did very well for himself!  Just look at Amy’s socks and boots!  That alone makes her a keeper.  I wish these two the best life and love can offer and some stunning photos to hang in their Seattle home.

Raves!

I just got this email that brought tears to my eyes.  It is just so nice to hear things like this:

“Thea! I hope you are doing very well!
So John and I got married in Chelsea, VT on August of ‘08 and you made your appearance very pregnant! First of all, I just finished making our wedding photo album, and was very overwhelmed at the gift you gave to us. I am not one for the schmaltz, but you did an amazing job at photographing our wedding. I didn’t even want a photographer, and was convinced by my mother and mother in law that I really would regret it if we didn’t find some one. They were to right. And, as our 2nd anniversary approaches next week, I just want to give you a HUGE thank you and shout out for your amazing work. I had a college friend ask if I would recommend you to photograph their wedding ( she didn’t know you had done ours, but saw our pic on your website) and I practically claimed you had hung the moon. Anyway. thank you so so so much!”

Erin & Ryan: Tower Hill Botanical Garden, Boylston MA

Erin and Ryan met in after college on a Habitat for Humanity trip - what a way to meet!  As soon as I head that I new they were my kind of couple.  They both actually went to college together at Holy Cross in Worcester but didn’t know each other from there.  The ceremony was at Holy Cross and the campus made for a fantastic backdrop on a hot and muggy Saturday.

The reception was at Tower Hill Botanical Garden in Boylston Mass.  It was fantastic!!  Not just an awesome place for a green wedding, but I want to go back just to visit.  It is a gem in Central Mass, seriously one of the most beautiful places to get married.  You can tell I had a hard time limiting the number to post here!

Annie & Ben; Kittery, Maine

Annie and Ben had a wonderful and intimate ceremony at a private residence in Kittery, Maine. This was a classic Maine wedding complete with a lobster dinner.  These two were such a pleasure to photograph and the backdrop didn’t hurt either!

Emily & Kristen; The Webster Barn

It was incredibly difficult to pull out just a few shots from this wedding to post here.  I have so many favorites!  The Webster Barn in Hyde Park Vermont is amazing.  The light here was just perfect!!

What a joy it is to have 2 brides!  Two beautiful brides, two beautiful dresses and two aesthetically-minded people.  One thing these two did incredibly well in decorating their wedding was they stuck to their theme.  Everything hinged on the country wedding theme and it was fantastic!

I could go on about them as a couple as well, but I think that shines through in these images.

Vermont Engagement Photos

Jody and Chris were at a Vermont wedding we photographed last year.  For Christmas, Jody’s mom got her and her best friend engagement session gift certificates.  It’s so fun to photograph people with connections to other clients.

Jody and Chris’s personalities really came through in these.  Can’t wait to do the Save the dates!
